Help is always given to those who deserve it…

Have you ever wondered, why we only complain about what went wrong and never take the time to thank those who have helped us in one or the other way, and sometimes even without being asked for it?

Social media is now the new news station for all the activities, right or wrong we end up sharing it and decorate it in such a way, that it looks like a crime. Well, like there are bad people on earth, there are real people around us. It is in our eyes, what we look in a person; search for something wrong with someone, you will end up finding only faults. I always follow  “Every living being is good, I would rather find one good quality in them than judge them for their faults.”

Some time back, when I was on my way to one of the run events near Manyata tech park along with my friends the car broke down. It was early in the morning around 5:30 am, and we were under a flyover, not sure about the exact location since it was my first time to that area. One guy was coming from the other side of the road on a Two-Wheeler (White Activa) observing the car break down.

I first got scared at the way he saw the car, then when he came back to us and asked if we needed; I realized how wrong I was. He said he wanted to check the engine, in few mins we were able to start the car. While he was leaving, he said: ” I am actually a mechanic, from the motor noise I could sense something is wrong that is why was observing it while I was riding.” We tried to offer him some money, he resisted and said he just wanted to help us.

If we actually think about it, he didn’t have to stop by to help us; he could have just passed without acknowledging us. Not everyone is bad, not everyone is going to do wrong to us. That day he helped me, someday I will help someone else.

I would like to thank him for helping us at that time, if he were not there that day, I would not have reached the event on time. And like him, I would also help the needy in any way I can.

Help anyone who deserves your help. We can change the society by changing ourselves not by asking others to change.
